ABOUT

My professional journey is also personal one - it started when I was 10 years old, spending time in my family’s carpentry business on weekends and school holidays, familiarising myself with the workings of the industry.

As I grew older, so did my vision for sustainability. After graduating from university, I officially joined the business and watched firsthand how our materials were sourced, used, and often wasted. I started questioning how things could be done differently.

What began as an exploration of sustainable timber manufacturing in 2012 has since expanded into circular economy solutions, material innovation, and business transformation.

Over time, I’ve evolved from a carpenter to an industry advocate, educator, and consultant but I have maintained The Green Carpenter name because it reflects the root of my green adventure.

Today, I work with businesses, policymakers, and communities to implement real-world sustainability solutions. This platform is where I share my experiences, insights, and ongoing efforts to help industries embrace a more sustainable, circular future.
