Education & Knowledge Sharing

Sustainability is as much about education as it is about innovation. While building sustainable products has been a core part of my journey, I also hold a passion for empowering future innovators, entrepreneurs, and conscious creators. Through my experience in sustainable design, circular economy strategies, and ethical manufacturing, I’ve had the opportunity to share knowledge and inspire change across multiple platforms.

Mentoring the Next Generation

I take pride in mentoring young designers, artisans, and entrepreneurs who want to make a difference in the sustainability space. Through workshops and one-on-one guidance, I help them understand the value of responsible sourcing, sustainable craftsmanship, and the importance of innovation in the green industry.

Beyond external training programs, I have had the opportunity to train and mentor our in-house employees, apprentices, and interns who have joined our company. Working closely with my team allows us to go deep into each process, from material selection to product development, giving them hands-on experience in real-world sustainability challenges.

Problem-solving together is a crucial part of our approach, and I encourage my team to refine their critical thinking skills by tackling design and production challenges head-on.

Industry Collaboration & Academic Contributions

Beyond guest lecturing, I have also contributed to academic research, industry panels, and knowledge sharing (such as my collaboration with Exim Bank), ensuring that sustainability is embedded in the next generation of design and business education.

Most recently, in 2025, I was appointed as a Member of the Industrial Advisory Panel for the Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Design (Honours) at the University of Technology Sarawak, where I look forward to provide industry insights to shape future-ready graduates in sustainable product design.

At the heart of it all, I hope to inspire and equip individuals and businesses with the knowledge they need to build a better, more sustainable future. Education is empowerment, and by sharing what I’ve learned, I hope to spark a movement that extends beyond furniture—one that transforms industries and mindsets.
