My engagement with industry organisations, government agencies, and NGOs allows me to contribute to the larger movement toward sustainability. I have worked alongside the likes of Malaysia Timber Industry Board (MTIB), Malaysian Timber Certification Council (MTCC), Malaysian Green Technology Corporation (MGTC), and Malaysia Design Council (MRM), supporting our mutual commitment to responsible sourcing, sustainable innovation, and the betterment of Malaysia’s industries.

Some of my contributions include:

• Member of the National Standards Committee on Timber, Timber Products & Timber Structures (2020) – Contributed to the development of Laminated Bamboo – Specifications for General Use, ensuring quality standards and promoting the use of sustainable materials in the industry.

• Committee Member of MTC Youth Circle (MYCC) 2023-2024, actively fostering youth engagement and leadership in the timber industry by promoting sustainable practices and career opportunities.

• Collaborating with the Malaysia Design Council in 2025 to drive innovation in sustainable design and encourage environmentally responsible product development.

By working with these organisations, I aim to bridge the gap between industry and sustainability, ensuring that Malaysia moves toward a more resilient and eco-conscious future.

To make sustainability accessible to the public, I frequently organise and participate in awareness campaigns that highlight green living, conscious consumerism, and responsible business practices.
